LBG Liege

Founded in 1991, LBG Liege has had the chance to be part of BEST and to witness its evolution pretty much from its beginning. Year after year and along with many other LBG's, Liege has grown and is now enjoying the fruits of its hard work.

Events we organised

Ever since its creation, LBG Liege has been organizing 2-weeks long Summer Courses on a variety of topics (it's actually getting difficult to find teachers that have not given a BEST Course in our University...).

Not so long ago, we also organized a Short Intensive Meeting called "EconoMIX".

About two years ago, a new project came to some belgian minds : beBEC (Belgian BEST Engineering Competition). Last year, Liege organized its own local competition and send their wining team to the National Round. Amazing enough: Our team was composed of 4 first-year Bachelor students and they finished second!

Finally, this year, Liege organized a Joint Board Training for the Lowlands. We welcomed just about 25 people from Paris, Ghent, Louvain-La-Neuve and Brussels to share tips and tricks about how to be a successful board.

Our Projects

In the near future, we will have to be looking for a new room (some problems obliged us to leave our current office).

More seriously, we are currently looking for a Cultural Exchange partner and some company sponsors to organise presentations and Case Studies in our University.

We are also working things out with our Faculty to organise some activities with students in Secondary Schools (the sooner they hear about us - and the University - the better -- for both of us -- .
