Student associations

There are several European and worldwide student organisations, each offering some specific services to the students of their target group. What they all have in common though is the aim of promoting mobility and exchange among students.

BEST is collaborating with these associations, which helps us to improve our existing projects and share our experience in the various fields of expertise, and at the same time to lower the barrier for students to find the right organisation fitting to their studies. Take a look here for an introduction to most of those student organisations.

Partner Student Associations

The five organisations with which BEST cooperates the most are our Official Partners: bonding from Germany, CFES (Canadian Federation of Engineering Students) from Canada, (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe / European Students' Forum) from Europe, ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management) and ELSA (European Law Students' Association) from Europe. A cooperation plan describes the joint initiatives taken by BEST and its partners.

AEGEE - our European official partner organisation ESTIEM - our European official partner organisation
ELSA - our European Law Students' official partner organisation

BEST is under the umbrella of the Informal Forum of the International Student Organisations (IFISO). IFISO is an informal forum for international officers of pluralistic, "non-political" and not-for-profit international (worldwide, European, etc.) student-run organisations. It is an international network of global or European Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). IFISO provides a platform for these NGOs to share best practices, but also to pursue common aims, often by cooperating through inter-organisational projects on a European level.
